For example, In the Week 3, we learned disaster theories and their utilizations such as some disaster related terms definitions,PAR model, and so on. We  constructed a simple vulnerability index with demographic datasets.  I will write this kind of activities from the Week 1 for your reference.

We are learning the basic conceptsfor this course at Part Ⅰ. We are working  on invesigating Typhoon Haiyan Disaster in 2003  as a model to understand the Part Ⅰ more clearly. Typhoon Haiyan Disaster was the most interested topic for the participants. We have already lerned theories, disaster data collections, intelligence, framework, and methodologies. We will use those for invesigating Typhoon Haiyan toghether.
